Product Notes
Agricola Brandini Barolo Annunziata is a traditional Barolo that showcases the quintessence of the Langhe hills. It is produced by the Brandini family, who have been making wine in Piedmont since 1860. The noble Nebbiolo grapes are sourced from the famed Annunziata vineyard in La Morra, where the calcareous clay soils are perfect for growing this iconic grape variety. The wine is aged for 24 months in large oak barrels, which allow it to develop complex aromas of red fruit, violet, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with fine tannins and a lingering finish. This is a wine that is enjoyable now, but will also reward cellaring for many years to come.
Tasting Notes
Garnet red, tending to orange with aging. On the nose it shows itself already in youth through a spectrum of notes ranging from eucalyptus to sweet tobacco to get to small red fruits. The drink is deep and multifaceted, with a silky and resolute tannic mass. Fresh, persistent and elegant.
