Product Notes
Brovia Barolo Villero is a high-end Italian red wine from the renowned Piedmont region. This wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, which grow on the slopes of the Villero vineyard, owned by the Brovia family. The grapes are carefully handpicked and sorted before they undergo a traditional fermentation process and are aged for 24 months in oak barrels. The resulting wine is deep red in color and boasts complex aromas of red fruit, leather, vanilla, and tobacco. On the palate, Brovia Barolo Villero displays a powerful structure with firm tannins and a long, silky finish. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to hearty dishes like roasted meats, stews, and strong cheeses.
Tasting Notes
Complex and gregarious, if very structured, offering an array of corpulent berry, plum, dried violet and tobacco leaf characteristics. Quite and extroverted and structured Villero but with more than enough flesh to cover the bones. From more compact clay soils than the Rocche facing south west, giving rounder more generous wines that nonetheless maintain a certain elegance. Aged in large used oak casks for two years.
