Product Notes
Château Bonalgue is a renowned wine estate located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux, France. The estate is situated on an undulating landscape covered with clay and gravel soils, which provide ideal growing conditions for producing world-class Merlot-based wines. The vineyards are spread over 7 hectares (17 acres) and are exclusively planted with Merlot grapes that are carefully tended to by skilled viticulturists. The estate produces wine that is dark and dense with robust flavors of black cherry, plum, cassis, and spice, all delicately balanced by the smooth tannins. The wines of Château Bonalgue are some of the finest examples of Pomerol wine, and they are highly sought after by wine enthusiasts all over the world.
Tasting Notes
This shows so much intensity, with black-olive, blackberry, meat and earth aromas. It’s full-bodied and very layered with power and generosity, yet it’s not overdone.
