Product Notes

Château Ksara Gris de Gris is a sophisticated and enticing rosé wine from Lebanon. This pale pink wine is made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan grapes, carefully selected and harvested by hand. Its nose is light and fruity, with hints of strawberry, peach, and fresh herbs. Its palate is crisp and refreshing, with a lively acidity and a complex range of flavors that include raspberries, citrus, and stone fruits. Tasting Notes

A pale pink wine with a grey undertone, a nose of small fruits, vine flowers, peony, and a touch of jasmine. Fresh and light, it is vivid, elegant, and harmonious and can only lead to a truly cheerful palate.

About the Winery

Château Ksara

Located in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, the Chateau Ksara wine label was established in 1857 by Jesuit Priests. One of the major highlights of this label is that it was the first Lebanese brand to produce dry red wine in the world. Today, these wines are exported to over 40 countries. Even today, this group continues to create wines without compromising its core values of tradition, nobility and modernity.

The vineyards where the fruits are grown at an altitude of 1000m above sea level, which gives unique flavour and character to the grapes. These vineyards are located across the famous wine-growing areas across the Bekaa Valley. These include the following:

Kanafar – Spread across 42 hectares, this vineyard is ideal for growing Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Mourvedre, Caladoc, Marselan, Semillon, Chardonnay, Clairette and Sauvignon.

Tal El Deir – This vineyard covers 76 hectares and is known for growing varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Merlot, Malbec, Chardonnay, Petit Verdot, Marselan, Gamay, Verdejo and Vermentino.

Tanail – The clay soil of this 63-hectare vineyard is great for Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Carignan, Grenache, Muscat Gros Grain, Muscat Petit Grain, Ugni Blanc, Viognier, Caladoc and the like.

Mansoura – Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Caladoc and Marselan are grown on this 52-hectare vineyard.

Tal Dnoub – Spread across 71 hectares, this vineyard is ideal for Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Semillon, Petit Verdot, Arinarnoa and Caladoc.

Kefraya – This 43-hectare vineyard is great for growing Mourvedre, Caladoc, Cinsault, Chardonnay, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Ugni Blanc and more.

Ksara Estate – This 21-hectare vineyard is great for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Semillon, Caladoc, Gewurztraminer, Viognier and more.

Chilifa – Spread across 25 hectares, this is ideal for Syrah, Marselan, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Massa – Syrah, Carignan and Sauvignon are grown on this 27-hectare vineyard.

Saghbine – This 21-hectare vineyard is ideal for Syrah, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Gamay, Sangiovese, Mourvedre and Cabernet Sauvignon.
