Product Notes

Château Minuty 281 Côtes de Provence Rosé is a premium wine crafted by one of the leading wineries of the region. This rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grapes, grown in the sunny vineyards of Minuty estate located in the heart of Provence, France. The wine is named after the estate's parcel number 281, where the vines are planted on a hilly terrain surrounded by pine trees and olive groves, which impart a unique flavor to the wine. The wine has a beautiful pale pink hue and aromas of peaches, raspberries, and citrus fruits. It has a refreshing acidity, along with a soft and fruity finish, making it an ideal accompaniment to seafood, salads, and grilled vegetables.

About the Winery

Château Minuty

Located in the scenic Saint Tropez Peninsula in the Provencal village of Gassin, the Chateau Minuty is a classic, family-owned wine estate that has been making exceptional wines for the last 80 years. The Mattan-Farnet Family established this estate in 1936. In a few years, Gabriel Farnet replanted the entire estate and resorted Chateau Minuty to its original glory, as this was quite a celebrated place under Napoleon III’s rule.

In the year 1955, a select group of 23 estates was given the recognition of cru-classe, among all the wines created in the Cotes de Provence region. Chateau Minuty was one of them. Five years after this recognition, Chateau Minuty underwent a change again. This was the time when Farnet’s daughter replanted the vineyards again with some of the excellent local varietals such as Rolie, Grenache and Tibouren. Today, after many years, the Chateau Minuty wine estate continues to make wines using a blend of some of the historic practices along with modern & sophisticated methods. It is because of the hard work of this family that Chateau Minuty Wines have an international presence in almost 75 countries today.

The demand for the Provence Rose wines of this label grew so much that they family had to create the Minuty SAS, a private distribution company. This company took over the responsibilities of marketing the family’s estate wines and all other wines that Minuty created under its label using grapes grown by other partner merchants.

This family estate underwent a transformation in the year 2009. This was the year when a state of the art bottling and storage facility, a vat cellar was created here. Facing the beautiful family estate, this cellar’s tank room has a capacity of 4200 hectolitres. There are two, ultra-modern, air-conditioned storage rooms as well in this cellar that are designed with all environment-safety standards to create unique wines.
