Product Notes
Clau de Nell Cuvée Violette Anjou is a wine that beautifully showcases the capabilities of biodynamic farming. Located in the Loire Valley, France, Clau de Nell produces wines from grapes grown in their biodynamically farmed vineyards. This particular vintage displays a striking purple hue that is the result of extended skin maceration. A blend of Cabernet Franc, Grolleau, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, it offers a host of aromas ranging from cherry and black currant to violet and sage. The palate is full and textured, with bright acidity and a long, savory finish. Clau de Nell Cuvée Violette Anjou is a fantastic example of the elegance and complexity that can be produced through biodynamic farming.
Tasting Notes
