Product Notes
Cartology Bush Vines is a highly sought-after white blend from Alheit Vineyards in South Africa. Crafted from Chenin blanc, Sémillon, and other indigenous varieties grown in old, unirrigated bush vine vineyards, this wine brings together the unique flavors and textures of the region. On the nose, it exudes aromas of lime zest, quince, and honeysuckle, while the palate is filled with flavors of pear, apricot, and a delicate herbaceous undertone. The wine is rich, textured, and balanced with a long, clean finish. Its complexity and elegance make it a perfect pairing for seafood, Asian cuisine, and light, fresh salads.
Tasting Notes
The nose is detailed and beautiful – ripe pear and sweet herbs, both citrus juice and rind. The palate is very pure and true, fine boned clarity, lovely proportions, no extra weight (unlike myself). This vintage shows good intensity and saline length. For me, the key word for this vintage is purity. This wine is already drinking well in its youth, but will reward maturation.
