Product Notes

Chateau La Coste Lady A Rosé is a beautiful and elegant wine from the Provence region of France. Made from a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Cinsault grapes, this wine offers a perfect balance of fresh acidity and fruity flavors. It has a soft pink color with a bouquet of strawberry, white peach, and citrus aromas. On the palate, the flavors are vibrant and crisp with tangy notes of red fruits, melon and lemon zest. It is a perfect wine for spring and summer months with a nice bottle design. The Chateau La Coste Lady A Rosé is perfect for pairing with seafood, salads, and light meat dishes.

About the Winery

Chateau La Coste

Château la Coste is a resort winery and art centre situated in southern France. What we see today started in 2002 after Patrick Mckillen, an Irish real estate entrepreneur and art collector, bought the estate. Previously, the state was an ordinary winery. The main intention was to convert the centre into a dedicated wine, art, and architecture area.

Chateau la Coste is situated in Le Puy Sainte Reparade. You can get here by car within one hour if you are coming from Aix en Provence on the D14 road. The estate covers 320 acres. These comprise three restaurants, two wine bars, a spa, a hotel, a country house, a wine shop, cellars, and art pavilions. The estate has a wide range of grape varieties.

There are historical structures at chateau la Coste, and there are other buildings that Tadao Ando designed. These include the chapel, the four cubes pavilion, and the art centre, completed in 2011. Renzo Piano-designed the art pavilion, completed in 2017, while the music pavilion and the cellars, completed in 2008, were designed by Frank O Gehry and Jean Nouvel, respectively. There are several art and sculpture installations on the Chateau La Coste footpaths. The installation includes works by artists such as Ai Weiwei, Rom Shannon, Franz West, Sean Scully, Alexandar Calder, Michael Stipe, Hiroshi Sugimoto Richard Serra, and Bourgeois Loise, among others. The activities in the estate involve temporary exhibitions, film screenings, music concerts and art workshops.

Chateau la Coste conjures fruity pinks, complex whites, fine reds, and the most expressive sparkling wines. However, this is not the only thing found at the organically grown wine estate. There is scenic beauty, hospitality, food, architecture and art. The estate is unique and offers some of the best experiences for anyone who chooses to visit.

Chateau la Coste only produces organic wines. The estate has wine-making traditions that can be traced to Roman times. The setting features vineyards, oaks, olive trees, stone pines, and cypresses. Organic processes apply the most biodynamic principles while prioritising quality instead of quantity. The estate holds an organic family label showing respect for the land and using methods in harmony with nature.
