Château Lafleur-Gazin

Château Lafleur-Gazin is an exceedingly reputed winery in Pomerol, a famous AOC and wine region or commune in France. The winery’s history starts ambiguous, with suggestive traces and evidence that the wine estate remained under the ownership and management of the Borderie family in the 20th century. It continued to do so for almost three generations before Maurice Borderie passed down the property to Madame Defour-Borderie, his daughter. In 2020, the wine estate and property of Château Lafleur-Gazin came under the ownership and administration of Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix. Nevertheless, the winery’s operations continued to run or function under the Moueix team well before that, since 1976.

Château Lafleur-Gazin lies on the northern edge of Pomerol, between Château La Fleur-Pétrus and Château Gazin. It allows the parcels and vineyards of the winery to enjoy and benefit from the ideal and superior microclimate of the region.
