Product Notes
Domaine Breton Bourgueil La Dilettante Cabernet Franc is a beautifully refined red wine from the Loire Valley region of France. Made entirely from Cabernet Franc grapes, the wine is a deep purple color and boasts aromas of dark berries, violets, and herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and bright with lively acidity and flavors of currants, black cherries, and a hint of tobacco. The tannins are firm yet silky, providing structure and depth to the wine. This is a complex and elegant wine with a long finish that pairs well with roasted meats or rich, hearty stews. It is a true expression of the terroir of Bourgueil and a testament to the skill of winemakers Catherine and Pierre Breton.
