Product Notes

La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a vibrant wine that is sure to captivate the drinker's taste buds. This wine is made with premium grapes grown in the cool coastal region of Sonoma, California. The grapes are hand-picked and meticulously fermented to create a perfect balance of flavors. This Pinot Noir boasts a bright ruby color and opens up with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and violet. On the palate, it is full-bodied with flavors of blackberry, black cherry, and a hint of spice that leads to a long, satisfying finish. The velvety smooth texture and balanced acidity make this wine an ideal pairing with grilled salmon, roasted lamb, or mushroom risotto. La Crema Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir is a wine that delivers quality and will leave a lasting impression on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, pomegranate and sweet tobacco. Multi-layered avors of red, blue and black berry fruit, plums, cherries and a hint of blood orange underpin subtle layers of exotic SPICE and toast. Fine tannins and balanced acidity drive a long nish

About the Winery

La Crema

La Crema was started in 1979 as La Crema Viñera, which translates into Best of the Vine. True to its name, the vineyards produce the region’s best grapes. La Crema means the Best, and their wines genuinely represent the best grapes from Oregon and California, which are regions with preeminently cold climates.  La Crema’s wines are inspired by the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay styles of Burgundy, where the wines are made in small lots, nurturing balance and distinct flavors. The process finally produces elegant wines whose quality does not fall with time.

La Crema initially wanted to focus on wine development from the Sonoma Coast and have expanded their activities to Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, Green Valley, Los Carneros, Williamette Valley and Monterey. Some of the prized wines from La Crema include:

Sarelee’s Vineyard 2017: This 2017 vintage wine brings a delicate structure. The wine contains refined tannins, the flavors of pomegranate, black plum and sassafras, and the scents of red currant, strawberry and boysenberry. The wine goes well with almost any meat dish and even a charcuterie plate with dried cherries.

Kelli Ann Vineyard 2018: The scents of toasted hazelnut, citrus blossom and fresh nectarine lures users to this vintage 2018 wine from La Crema. Its palate brings great concentration and elegance in finish and has flavours of white peach, mandarin candy and lemon curd. The wine can be used with seafood and can be extended to other food combinations due to its oak regimen.

Los Carneros 2019: The wine brings a rich texture and lustrous finish. Flavours of lemon curd, crème brûlée and tangerine are preceded by the aromas of green apple, lemon zest and jasmine. The wine goes well with grilled salmon, Caesar salad, classic roast chicken, bagels with lox and creamy brie.

Sparkling Brut Rosé: Made with 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, this wine smells of white roses, crushed oyster shells and Braeburn apple. A vibrant finish accompanies a lively acidic core, and flavours of fresh ginger, wild strawberry and lemon meringue make up the wine’s palate. The wine is a cocktail favourite and goes well with bacon, caramelised onions, cheese and flaky crust.
