Product Notes
Martín Códax Cuatro Pasos Black Mencia is a Spanish wine that is made from the Mencia grape variety. This wine is grown in the Bierzo region of Spain, which is known for its cool climate and high altitude vineyards. The wine itself is characterized by its dark red color, with hints of black cherry and violet on the nose. On the palate, it is full-bodied with flavors of black fruit, spice, and a hint of earthiness. This wine is aged in oak barrels for six months, giving it a smooth and velvety texture. It pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
Tasting Notes
Intese cherry red color. Medium-high intensity where prevails the bouquet varietal of black fruit (blackberry, prune, cassis). Fruit harmoniously assembled with toasted raisings, spices and smoked. Mineral background. Powerful and glyceric, with very well integrated friendly tannins. Balsamic aftertaste that invites to a second drink.
