Product Notes
Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Vergers' is an exquisite white wine made from Chardonnay grapes in the Chassagne-Montrachet region of Burgundy, France. This premier cru has a beautiful pale gold color with an intense aroma of white flowers and citrus fruits. On the palate, it is lively and refreshing with flavors of lemon, pear, and a hint of honey. The wine has a magnificent balance of acidity and minerality with a long, smooth finish. It is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, which adds complexity and depth to the wine. Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Les Vergers' is a perfect match for fish, seafood, and white meat dishes.
Tasting Notes
One of Chassagne-Montrachet’s most elegant and luxurious wines, this complex bottling strikes a brilliant balance between the mineral character and the powerful, spicy character. Ripe fruit and slight flint aromatics deceive, as they guide to a palate that is broader, deeply expressive and full bodied with pure fruit and chalk, rounding out with a long mineral-tinged finish. Ideal with noble white meats or fish like salmon. To be served at 10-12°C. Ageing potential: 5-7 years.
