Product Notes

Robert Mondavi Reserve Pinot Noir Carneros wine is a true standout in the world of California reds. Made from carefully selected grapes grown in the prestigious Carneros region, this wine boasts vibrant aromas of cherry, raspberry, and subtle hints of earthy spices. On the palate, flavors of ripe red fruits dance alongside notes of vanilla and a touch of oak, creating a beautifully balanced and complex profile. The tannins are silky smooth, giving the wine a luxurious mouthfeel that lingers long after each sip. With its impeccable craftsmanship and elegant flavor profile, Robert Mondavi Reserve Pinot Noir Carneros wine is a must-try for any wine enthusiast.

About the Winery

Robert Mondavi

Considered as the best winery in North America for quite a few years now, the Robert Mondavi Winery is the place that you need to appreciate the finest wine in this continent. It uses the grapes grown in the wine-rich area of Napa Valley to make scintillating wines, ever since it was established in 1966.

At the time of starting this label, Robert Mondavi’s only aim was to make the best wine in Napa Valley. Today, four decades later, he has exceeded his own dreams, by becoming one of the best wine labels not only in California but in the world. Many old and new wine brands continue to get inspired by the innovations followed in Robert Mondavi’s winery.

This brand’s aim is to create fruits that are true to the soils where they are grown. Robert chose his vineyards very carefully even during the very beginning. Currently, the fruits for these grapes are grown in the following vineyards:

  • To Kalon Vineyard in Oakville - Considered as one of the best first-growth vineyards in the world, the To Kalon Vineyard had its first vine planted in 1868. World-class Cabernet Sauvignon is grown here. Currently, other varietals such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah and Semillon are also planted here.
  • Wappo Hill Vineyard in Stags Leap District - Located on 400 acres of the cliffs of Stags Leap, the Wappo Hill Vineyard became a part of Robert Mondavi in 1969. The clayey loam soils filled with gravels and the winds from the San Pablo Bay, make this a great location for growing intensely flavourful Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
  • Carneros towards the north of San Pablo Bay - Located towards the north of Napa and Sonoma Valleys and the north of San Pablo Bay, Carneros is the coolest vineyard, mainly used for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
