The wine is made from the Riesling grapes grown in the Mosel region, which is known for producing some of the world’s best Riesling wines. The wine has a pale yellow color with a hint of green. About the Winery

Weingut Markus Molitor

Markus Molitor is a 8th generation winemaker from the Molitor family. He took over his father’s winery in the mid-1980s to produce some exceptional Riesling wines from the region of Moselle in Germany. Today, many aspiring winemakers consider him as the Riesling ambassador of the German wine industry. Markus operates with the main aim of producing natural wines in the vineyard and cellar, with minimal intervention and utmost respect to the terroirs.

The German Rieslings from the Moselle and Saar regions were one of the most expensive wines (even costlier than Burgundy and Bordeaux wines) in the world in the early 1800s. The elevated vineyards of Moselle, Saar and Ruwer, along with the microclimate and beautiful terroirs of the place helped to create Rieslings with amazing minerality and elegance.
