Product Notes

Keplinger Lithic wine is a true expression of the unique terroir of the Sierra Foothills. Crafted by renowned winemaker Helen Keplinger, this exceptional wine showcases the essence of the region's ancient granitic soils, resulting in a wine of exceptional complexity and depth. The combination of old vine Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah grapes creates a harmonious blend of ripe red fruit, spice, and earthy notes. The wine's elegant tannins and vibrant acidity make it a versatile pairing for a wide range of dishes, from grilled meats to hearty stews. Keplinger Lithic wine is a true masterpiece that embodies the essence of the Sierra Foothills in every sip.

Tasting Notes

The 2019 Lithic is deeply perfumed, with heady aromatics of lavender, boysenberry, strawberries, orange blossom, Darjeeling tea, leather, rose petal, and baking spices. The gorgeous, silky entry, opens to delicious flavours of red and purple fruits, clove, pot pourri, cinnamon stick, with a persistent to the ethereal, long finish.
