In 1985, Madame Jadot decided to sell off the family-owned domaine of Louis Jadot to Rudy Kopf. Kopf, until then, was the US importer of the rich Jadot wines. Louis Jadot is one of the most important wine producers from the Burgundy region. They are extremely famous for the quality and quantity of grapes grown in their vineyards. While you can find the affordable varieties, such as Bourgogne and Beaujolais easily in the vineyards, you can also spot the most exclusive cru vines such as the Cote de Beaune Chablis.
