Product Notes
M. Chapoutier Hermitage Chante-Alouette is a luscious and complex white wine that truly embodies the essence of the Hermitage terroir. It is made from 100% Marsanne grapes that are hand-harvested, carefully sorted, and fermented using indigenous yeasts. On the nose, this wine presents aromas of ripe peaches, honey, and hazelnuts, coupled with floral notes of acacia and honeysuckle. The palate is rich and full-bodied, showcasing flavors of peach, apricot, and baked apple, along with a hint of vanilla. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels before being bottled. M. Chapoutier Hermitage Chante-Alouette is a perfect accompaniment to poultry, seafood, and creamy cheeses.
Tasting Notes
Chante-Alouette is a beautiful example of a Hermitage wine. Brilliant, green gold in colour with complex and subtle nose, aromas of quince, walnut, honey, ginger, acacia with a hint of linden-tree. On the palate it is pronounced with great balance and structure, with long finish with notes of almond.
