Product Notes
Montirius Vacqueyras Le Clos is a full-bodied and complex red wine made from 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah grapes grown in the Vacqueyras appellation in the southern Rhône Valley in France. The vineyard is located on a terraced slope with a stony soil that is rich in limestone and clay, which gives the wine its unique character. The wine has an intense ruby color with aromas of black fruit, spices, and hints of vanilla. On the palate, it is bold and rich with flavors of blackberry, cherry, and licorice, with a long and smooth finish. This wine pairs well with red meat, game, and cheese. It is an excellent choice for those who enjoy intense and complex red wines.
Tasting Notes
A deep red wine, on the nose, with characteristics of the parcel: raspberry, liquorice and vanilla. In the mouth, the tannins are fine, silky and delicate. A lovely after taste. The aromas on the nose are found in the mouth, complimented by elegance, finesse and a lovely freshness.
