The wine is a rich blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, offering a delightful mix of aromas and flavors. The nose is filled with blackberry, cassis, and plum, and the palate is topped with notes of vanilla, spice and chocolate. This wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, offering a soft and smooth finish. The tannins in Piattelli Vineyards Grand Reserve Trinità are well integrated, offering an exceptional balance of acidity and sweetness. This wine pairs perfectly with grilled meats and strong cheeses, making it a must-have for special occasions and romantic dinners.

Trinità tantalizes the senses with aromatic notes of plum and raspberry, complemented by hints of coffee, chocolate and spice, which unfold across the palate. A beautifully balanced wine with ripe tannins, an opulent texture and a long, intense finish.

About the Winery

Piattelli Vineyards

The Piatelli Vineyards, located in Argentina, have been making extremely top-quality wines for many years now. Through this label, the winemaking team has been trying to unleash the potential of two of the most important and reputed wine growing regions of Argentina – Mendoza and Cafayate. With wineries at both these places, the management team focuses on improving the quality of the grapes with every harvest.

The winery at Mendoza was established during 2002, and most of the Piattelli wines are made from fruits processed here. While the winery is located at the base of the Andes Mountains, the vineyards are spread across four areas – Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo, Tupungato and west Valle de Uco. All of these are certified as 100% organic; therefore the fruits grown here aren’t exposed to any harsh chemicals.

These vineyards are located towards the east of the Andes Mountains; therefore, they are well-sheltered from the ocean breezes from the Pacific. Out of these regions, Agrelo in Lujan de Cuyo is quite popular because it was the first to receive the Appellation d’Origine Controlee recognition, thanks to the region’s rich potential to grow and process the Malbec grape varietal.

Located at about 20 miles from Agrelo, is the region of Tupungato, where the vineyards are located at around 4000ft above sea level. Therefore, the region is ideal for growing premium-quality Chardonnay & Sauvignon grape varietals. Malbec, Merlot and Sauvignon are used for the Mendoza portfolio of wines.

The Cafayate vineyards are located in Northern Province, which is regarded as the tallest wine region in the world. The innovative and new wines from the Piattelli label are made using grapes grown here. The vineyards are located at around 5600ft above sea level, thanks to which they are ideal for cultivating thick-skinned and intense-flavoured grapes. Malbec, Torrontes, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat are used for the Cafayate portfolio of wines.
