Product Notes

Pulenta Estate Bodega La Flor Cabernet Sauvignon is a premium red wine made from the highest quality grapes grown in Argentina's Mendoza region. This elegant and sophisticated wine has a deep ruby color and intense aroma of ripe black fruits, vanilla, and hints of spice. The flavor is complex and balanced, with smooth tannins, velvety texture, and a long, persistent finish. Hand-selected and matured in French oak barrels for 12 months, this wine is perfect for pairing with red meats, stews, and strong cheeses. Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or just beginning to explore the world of red wines, Pulenta Estate Bodega La Flor Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional choice.

Tasting Notes

Intense ruby color, typical of the variety. Spicy aromas reminiscent of red pepper, oregano, eucalyptus and hints of plum jam, given complexity by notes of chocolate, coconut and tobacco from the oak aging.

About the Winery

Pulenta Estate

The past of Pulenta Estate remains closely related to the history of its founders’ immigration to Argentina. The Pulenta family was originally residents of Italy who moved to Argentina in the initial years of the 20th century. There, they adopted the practices and methods of Argentine viticulture and continued to practice and implement them for four generations. The establishment and birth of the Pulenta Estate came into the picture in 2002 when Hugo and Eduardo Pulenta, the children of Antonio Pulenta, worked to set a winery.

The two descendants of their Italian immigrant ancestors brought together valuable experience and a skilled workforce. They did so to create a state-of-the-art yet conventional winery to continue their family tradition. They kept the aspects of aesthetics and technicality in mind when constructing Pulenta Estate on one of the lands or vineyards that their father passed down to them. The building showcases a style characterised by Italian tradition, producing wines that emphasise the elegance of the taste and the fruit of origin.

Pulenta Estate lies in the primary wine-producing region of Argentina, in Mendoza’s Alto Agrelo. It makes the site an excellent place to grow vines and produce wines of superior distinction and class.

The winery has two vineyards of 135 hectares, planted with Merlot, Chardonnay, Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grape varieties get used individually or as a blend to produce wines of the highest quality.

Pulenta Estate experiences the perfect climatic conditions required for the growth and development of the grapevines. It enjoys a desirable amount of rainfall, sunshine, and wind currents that enhance the natural fruitiness of the grapes and improve their flavour and aroma. In addition to these aspects, the strict and flawless work put behind the care of the vineyards allows Pulenta Estate to acquire superior results.
