Roagna Barolo Pira is a superior quality wine produced by the Roagna family in Piedmont, Italy. This Barolo, made from Nebbiolo grapes, has a deep ruby red color with an elegant and complex bouquet of red fruit, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with ripe tannins, a velvety texture, and a long finish. The Pira vineyard, where the grapes are grown, is situated in the Serralunga d'Alba commune, known for producing some of the best Barolos in the world. This wine is aged for three years in large oak casks, followed by a minimum of two years in the bottle before release.
