Product Notes

Sierra Cantabria Rioja Coleccion Privada is a celebrated red wine originating from the Rioja wine region in Spain. Produced using Tempranillo grapes sourced from old vines, this wine is deep, rich, and full-bodied with intense aromas of red fruits, vanilla, and smoke. The palate is equally complex with notes of dark cherry, blackberry, and hints of tobacco that are beautifully complemented by the wine's smooth and velvety tannins. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, resulting in a well-balanced wine with a lingering finish. Whether enjoyed on its own or paired with a rich meat dish, Sierra Cantabria Rioja Coleccion Privada is a bold and elegant wine that is sure to impress.

Tasting Notes

Intense cherry colour. A delicate nose, elegant with definite fruity expression, spice and subtle notes of petals and creamy traces of well-integrated oak. This pure Tempranillo is still firm and grippy but has concentration of blackberry fruit richness and freshness all coming together to make a stylish and powerful modern Rioja.

  • Teso La Monja – In the last decade or so, the Toro appellation has been getting special treatment from the expert winemaking team at the company. So, this has become one of the popular vineyards in the DO Tora area.
