Product Notes

The Thelema Sutherland Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing white wine that exudes aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and green apple. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant with flavors of lime, lemon zest and passionfruit, backed by a vibrant acidity. This wine is light-bodied, making it an excellent option for sipping on a hot summer day or pairing with seafood dishes, salads and light appetizers. The grapes for this wine are handpicked from the Sutherland Estate in the Elgin Valley of South Africa, and the wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Overall, the Thelema Sutherland Sauvignon Blanc is a delicious and well-balanced white wine that's perfect for any occasion.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold in colour with youthful flashes of lime green, the nose is aromatic with pungent 'green' aromas of bell pepper and fresh crushed herbs. On the palate the wine is medium bodied and dry with a mouthwatering streak of minerals, hints of sub-tropical fruit and a layer of grassy gooseberry flavours that merge sublimely with the limey, crisp finish. Elegant and lengthy.
