Product Notes
Le Clos Jordanne Le Grand Clos Niagara Chardonnay is a remarkable wine produced in Niagara Peninsula, Canada. The wine is made using Chardonnay grapes that are grown in the Le Clos Jordanne vineyard, which is located near the shore of Lake Ontario. The fresh, mineral-rich soil in the area is perfect for grape cultivation, giving this wine a distinctively rich, complex flavor with a crisp and refreshing finish. Le Grand Close Niagara Chardonnay reveals vibrant notes of citrus, pineapple, and pear, along with hints of oak and a subtle floral fragrance. It is a bold and luxurious wine that pairs well with seafood, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes.
Tasting Notes
Le Grand Clos Blanc 2019, from a cool, long, late, and ultimately ‘quite ripe’ vintage, overflows with dry extract and verve, and is rich, tight, and seamless. There is complex lemon and elegant marzipan purity on the nose, and further flavour layers of stone fruit, elegant pear, yellow apple, and the barely visible barrel ferment is expressed as an intoxicating spice. The texture is seamless, lacy and with a lanolin-like viscosity - it is fine and rich.
