The winery is renowned for its traditional wine-making techniques and for producing some of the most exceptional Tuscan wines, including the grand cru Badia a Passignano, made from a careful selection of the best grapes, fermented in oak barrels, and then refined in the bottle for at least a year. The cellar also offers visitors an impressive wine-tasting experience, luxurious accommodation, and an exclusive restaurant serving traditional Tuscan cuisine paired with the estate's wines.
Tasting Notes
Badia a Passignano 2016 is ruby red in color. On the nose it expresses aromas of red fruit, cherries and morello cherries combined with intense yet delicate floral notes and white chocolate. The palate is rich, lively and balanced with supple, velvety tannins that give the wine elegance, great character and excellent persistence of flavors.
