Product Notes

Antinori La Braccesca Bramasole is a prestigious Italian wine from the esteemed wine-making house of Antinori. It is made from the Sangiovese grape varietal, grown in the beautiful hills of Montepulciano, Tuscany. This wine is characterized by its rich and intense ruby red color, and the aroma of wild cherries, blackberries, and spices. The palate of this wine is bold and opulent, with flavors of ripe dark fruits, cocoa, and vanilla. It has a firm tannic structure and a long, lingering finish. Antinori La Braccesca Bramasole is an excellent wine for pairing with hearty meat dishes and aged cheeses.

Tasting Notes

Bramasole 2016 is a dark, intense ruby red color. On the nose, notes of black berries and violets combine with spicy hints of pepper and vanilla. Its palate is mouth filling and soft with sensations of black berries that re-emerge accompanied by pleasant, lively tannins. Its finish is long and characterized by after-aromas of vanilla.

About the Winery

Antinori La Braccesca

The history of the Italian wine label, Antinori La Braccesca dates back to 1385. The Antinori family, known for its rich winemaking experience, established this brand, which came to be known as one of Italy’s premium wine brands. Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member of the Florentine Art of the Vinattieri in 1385. Today, 26 generations later, this estate is still run by the Antinorio family members, with the same dedication and respect to the art of winemaking.

The wines from Antinori are classified on the basis of the geographical areas from where the fruits are produced. They are Chianti Classico, Bolgheri, Montalcino, Tuscan Maremma, Montepulciano, Cortona, Tuscany, Umbria and Franciacorta.
