Antinori Pian delle Vigne Vignaferrovia Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a premium red wine produced in the Montalcino region of Tuscany, Italy. This wine is made from exclusively Sangiovese grapes grown in the single vineyard Vignaferrovia, which is located within the Pian delle Vigne estate. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of 130-200 meters above sea level and the soil is rich in clay and limestone, which lend unique minerality to the wine. The wine is aged for at least five years, of which at least two years are spent in oak barrels. It exhibits a deep ruby-red color, with aromas of ripe dark fruits, spices, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish. Vignaferrovia is ruby red in color. Its nose is rich and complex.
