Mas Martinet Cami Pesseroles is a Spanish red wine from the Priorat region. This premium wine is produced from a blend of Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, grown on steep slopes of mineral-rich soils. It exhibits a deep ruby-red color with aromas of dark fruit, black cherry, vanilla, and mocha. On the palate, it delivers full-bodied flavors of blackberry, plum, and chocolate, backed by firm tannins and balanced acidity. The wine undergoes a 10-12 month aging process in oak barrels, which adds complexity and smoothness to the finish. A wonderfully complex dark fruited nose with hints of bitter chocolate, wild herbs, earth and incense leads in to a full bodied, succulent palate that is hard to describe. A certain tannic presence and fine, trembling acidity holds together and frames a vibrant, authentic style of wine that although powerful has a real sense of cohesion and balance.
