It is a blend of estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, aged for over five years in the bottle, resulting in a complex and harmonious wine. The nose is characterized by notes of citrus, green apple and hazelnut, with a delicate bread dough aroma. The palate is crisp and bright, with vibrant acidity, a fine mousse, and a prolonged finish. This wine is a perfect accompaniment to seafood, particularly oysters, or enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. Benjamin Bridge Brut Reserve is a true reflection of the unique terroir and winemaking practices of the region.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, a deep golden colour with a straw hue. The nose is immediately captivating, with heightened citrus notes of lemon preserve and fresh ruby red grapefruit, supported by the most subtle and delicate floral suggestion. The palate is expansive, dense and rich, with a tightly knit texture and energizing hints of apricot sorbet. The finish appears almost everlasting, as our terroir’s unmistakable saline minerality reverberates.
