Product Notes
Quinta do Infantado Douro Tinto is a dark ruby red wine hailing from the Douro Valley region of Portugal. It is a blend of traditional grape varietals such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca, sourced from the estate's oldest vines. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months, imparting subtle vanilla and spice notes to the fruit-forward bouquet. On the palate, it showcases rich flavors of raspberry, black cherry, and plum, balanced with savory undertones of leather and tobacco. Its bold tannins and velvety finish make it the perfect pairing for hearty meat dishes or aged cheeses.
Tasting Notes
This wine is deep ruby in colour with violet hues, with intense aromas of raspberries, ripe plums, blueberries and cloves. Medium bodied on the palate with smooth, ripe tannins, juicy black fruit flavours and a long, succulent finish.
