Product Notes
San Marzano Talò Primitivo di Manduria DOP is a prestigious wine produced in the southern Italian region of Apulia. This red wine is made from 100% Primitivo grapes, a rich and flavorful varietal known for its dark, jammy fruit flavors and spicy notes. The grapes are carefully selected from San Marzano's own vineyards, which benefit from the region's warm, dry climate and fertile soil. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 6-8 months to enhance the wine's complexity and provide a delicate vanilla aroma. The result is a full-bodied wine with ripe black fruit flavors, soft tannins, and a long, lingering finish. An excellent pairing for grilled meats, pasta with tomato sauce, or aged cheeses.
Tasting Notes
A rich and opulent wine with vibrant flavours of ripe cherries and plums combined with subtle overtones of cocoa and vanilla. This wine has a velvety texture, softened by the warmth of the Primitivo grapes; brambly fruits on the palate and a persistent sweetness on the finish.
