Product Notes
Coriole Estate Sangiovese is a rich, bold wine with a deep ruby hue and concentrated aromas of black cherry, raspberry and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and complex, with flavours of ripe dark fruits, plum, tobacco, leather and a hint of balsamic. The tannins are firm but balanced, with a bright acidity that provides a long and satisfying finish. This wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on the sunny slopes of the McLaren Vale in South Australia, where the warm Mediterranean climate and ancient soils create perfect conditions for producing high-quality wine. Pair this Sangiovese with grilled or roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes and strong cheeses.
Tasting Notes
The nose is bright and pronounced showing an alluring mix of dark cherry, red berries, rose and dried herbs. The palate is medium bodied with great depth of flavour showing more cherry, raspberry and mixed spice. Fine but firm tannins give the palate great persistence and drive.
