Product Notes

Mancura Etnia Sauvignon Blanc is a wine that captures the essence of Chile with its refreshing taste and bright acidity. It is made from grapes grown in the Maule Valley, a region where warm days and cool nights produce grapes with balanced sugar and acidity levels. This wine has a pale yellow color with greenish hues and scents of fresh grapefruit, lime and green apples. On the palate, Mancura Etnia Sauvignon Blanc shows flavors of passion fruit, green apples, and citrus that blend perfectly with its mineral notes and crisp acidity. This wine is perfect to combine with seafood, salads, or chicken dishes.

About the Winery

Mancura

Mancura, the Chilean wine label, is one of those brands that give a lot of respect and love to their history & origin. Mancura is known for being the first winery in Chile to get sustainability certification in all areas of viticulture and vineyard practices. The region of Central Valley in Chile, where this winery is located, is quite close to the Andes Mountains. It enjoys the warmth of the sun during the daytime and fresh breeze from seas during nights.

Mancura Winery is located in the Cachapoal Valley. What blows your mind away upon visiting the winery and the cellar is the modern architecture and state-of-the-art technology used here to retain the original flavour and character of the fruits!

Some of the popular ranges of Mancura wines, which we recommend to try, are:

  • Etnia – In the local dialect, this means “ethnic.” This range of wines is a dedication to the beautiful sunrise witnessed at Mancura. The grapes used to make this range of wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay (all grown in the Central Valley) and Moscato (grown in the Itata Valley)
  • Guardian – This range of wine is a dedication to the fresh evening ambience that you enjoy here. The grapes used for this range are Cabernet Sauvignon, Pais, Carignan, Merlot (grown in the Maule Valley), Carmenere (grown in the Maipo Valley), Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay (grown in the Leyda Valley) and Pinot Noir (grown in the Casablanca Valley).
  • Mito – This range represents the highest-quality of wines that are produced right from the top of the Andes to the depth of the coastal valleys. The grapes used here are Cabernet Sauvignon (grown in the El Puntal Field), Carmenere (grown in the Maule Valley), Chardonnay or Viognier and Pinot Noir (grown in the Casablanca Valley).
