Product Notes
The Yalumba Tri-Centenary Grenache is a premium wine that has been crafted using grapes from the oldest known Grenache vineyard in the world. The vineyard, located in the Barossa Valley of South Australia, was planted in 1889 and has stood the test of time, producing exceptional grapes year after year. The wine itself is a beautiful ruby color with aromas of ripe red fruits, pepper, and spice. On the palate, you'll taste flavors of raspberry, cherry, and vanilla with subtle hints of oak. The wine has a medium body with a smooth, velvety finish. Enjoy it with roasted meats or hearty stews for a truly special meal.
Tasting Notes
The wine shows savoury cherry red fruits and complex aromas of powdery spices, white pepper, mushrooms, earth and truffles. A full, rich and juicy wine with a vibrant fruit, balanced with fresh acidity and a long grainy tannin finish.
