Product Notes
Yering Station Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich and complex wine that embodies the spirit of the Yarra Valley region. This full-bodied wine bursts with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and a hint of tobacco, leading into rich and silky tannins on the palate. The lengthy finish is marked by hints of oak and blackberry. This wine has been carefully crafted using only the best grapes from the vineyard’s oldest and most prized winemaking blocks, and aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Perfectly suited to pair with hearty beef stews or grilled lamb chops, this wine is a true standout in the world of premium cabernet sauvignons.
Tasting Notes
COLOUR - Deep, brilliant garnet. NOSE - Lifted and fragrant red currant and cassis, tobacco leaf and cedar spice. PALATE - Red and black currant fruits enveloped in a warm autumnal fragrance. The tannin profile combined with its bright mineral acidity, is youthful and firm, yet very fine, speaking to a long-lived future.
