Sebastian Zuccardi, along with his grandfather, Alberto Zuccardi, planted the first Zuccardi vines in a small plot in Maipu in the Mendoza region in 1963. In 2008, Sebastian Zuccardi added a special Research and Development Wing in the family winery, to learn and analyse more about the terroirs. Different types of microclimates prevail in the farms or vineyards where grapes are produced for Zuccardi wines. Located in the Uco Valley, which is at the Andes Mountains' foothills in Mendoza, these vineyards enjoy the benefits of altitude, cool and dry climate throughout the year.
